Update on Hero's Rescue Story, March 2006
Hero is still on antibiotics for an infection. He is not quite out of the woods yet but is improving all the time.
He has gained approximately a pound since coming into care and now eats on his own. Hero is starting to discover the delights of canine companionship and Havanese games of "Run-Like-Hell".
Life is worth living. Hero's foster home reports a steady trend in the right direction.
