Hero's Rescue Story

Hero arrived in Rescue as a sorry unkempt bundle of skin and bone weighing a scant six pounds (about half of his ideal weight). Suffering from severe malnutrition and neglect along with a host of ailments related to these conditions, Hero was fast losing the will to live.

We would like to introduce you to a special little boy, 2 year old Nevins. His first family found a puppy was more work than they anticipated and he was given to a second family when he was about 6-8 months old.He was surrendered into Rescue in the spring of 2007 by his second family as they could not give him the time and attention he needed.
